Felt like trying something new, so started a new photomanipulation mixing stock photos to create a work of ‘diffusion’…I’m loving the way this one turned out, really pleased with the result. Took me about 3.5 hours in Photoshop using the trusty Wacom!

Hey there, there’s no tutorial at the moment, but basically the design is created from a few stock photos of ink dropped into water, this is then layered and masked over the woman. Worked into the mask with brushes to give the effect that the woman is turning to smoke. All of the image was worked up in grayscale and then a gradient filter was applied at the end.
