For the release of Kitty Katt’s new album, Hip Pop Vol 1, I was asked to produce the artwork for both the front and back covers. My initial design was a dark, moody look with splashes of muted colour. This was then followed by my second design (chosen as the final cover design), which has a much brighter, more colourful feel, mixing ink drop graphics and soft colour blocks to create a more funky, lively feel to the album. You can find the links to both versions below.

A new 3D composition, created in Cinema 4D and finished up in Photoshop. As I’m a designer, I thought I’d use the letters CMYK (four-colour print acronym; ‘Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black’) to create a stylised work.

My first step into the world of 3D, I referred to a great tutorial and this is the result. Created using a combination of Illustrator, Cinema 4D and Photoshop, it is a fluid mixture of text and liquid to create a very dynamic composition.
Credit to abduzeedo for a great tutorial.
